From January 17th to February 17th, 2015, Blooming Boutique will be hosting a food drive for the Food Bank of Delaware at their 4 southern Delaware locations - Rehoboth, Lewes, Bethany,and Milford. In return for bringing in items for the drive, customers will receive a discount off their purchase (or future purchase). The more items customers donate, the higher discount they will receive; one item will equal a 10% discount, three items a 20% discount, and five items a 30% discount. This discount will be applicable to anything in the store except jewelry and cannot be combined with any other promotions in the store. A card detailing the earned Blooming Boutique discount will be provided to customers upon their donation.
The mission of Food Bank of Delaware is to provide nutritious foods to Delawareans in need and facilitate long-term solutions to the problems of hunger and poverty through community education and advocacy. Just like Food Bank of Delaware makes major strides in assisting the local community, giving back is just as important to Blooming Boutique. This project is their latest venture in giving back, as they believe being a community minded business is just as important as providing stylish clothing for their consumers. The Food Bank of Delaware is currently in need of hot and cold cereals, peanut butter, canned fruits, canned meats, 8 oz. shelf-stable milk, canned vegetables, and spaghetti sauce, and these are the items Blooming Boutique will be requesting during their drive.
Blooming Boutique wishes to collect 400 items during the drive period (100 for each of their 4 locations). Help eliminate hunger and save on your Blooming Boutique favorites. Giving back has never been so fabulous!
