For example, Micha typically wears an XL in most Lulu B clothing products, and she wears a L in the sleeveless V-neck Tank and ¾ sleeve tunic.
The Cha Cha Dress & Cha Cha Top: Size Down 1 Size
The original "belly-disguiser," the cha-cha top and dress are fan favorites at Blooming Boutique! Made of linen, these jackets don't stretch and may feel tighter in the arm area if you have larger arms. We usually recommend choosing your true size for these jackets, but if you have larger arms you may consider going up one size. You may also want to consider whether you plan on keeping the jacket open or buttoning it closed when selecting your size.
Beachtime by Lulu B vs. Lulu B: Consider Going Up 1 Size
Beachtime is Lulu B’s newest division, offering a versatile range of prints and patterns. However, the fabric in this line is slightly different, which may require you to size up. Beachtime fabric is 94% Nylon and 6% Spandex, while Lulu B fabric is 92% Nylon and 8% Spandex. Both fabrics provide UPF50+ sun protection. If you haven't tried Beachtime by Lulu B yet, we highly recommend it for its "dressier" feel. Additionally, Beachtime offers 100% cotton products in even more prints! Cotton does stretch less than the nylon/spandex fabric, so typically we recommend going true to size or sizing up.
Bangladine by Lulu B: True Numerical Size
We've recently expanded our selection of bottoms made from Lulu B's Bangladine fabric. We were impressed by how stretchy yet polished these bottoms look and feel. Lulu B offers Bangladine shorts, skorts, capris, pants, and pedal pushers. All Bangladine products come in numerical sizes, typically ranging from 2 to 18. After trying these products with our staff and customers, we've found that most people find they run true to size.
