Keeping a Blooming Boutique, Treasures, or our Gift Shops store thriving requires a diverse set of skills, and as our Store Manager/Lead, you are a master of them all. You play an integral role in the store’s success as you are the liaison between the customer and company. You work well with all departments including finance, planning, marketing and operations. Your team is committed to excellence – a team that, above all, is passionate about delivering a joyful customer experience through collaboration, salesmanship, merchandise presentation and in-store events. You can seamlessly balance a wide array of responsibilities – from personnel, to financial performance, to operations, to customer satisfaction. Our Store Managers can multi-task like a pro; effectively leading the store’s dynamic environment. You embody hospitality, charm and professionalism.


Deliver results to meet or exceed store goals and company objectives

Follows Non-Negotiables without wavering

Executes plans that maximize sales and ensure fiscal responsibility in areas of payroll and the use of company assets

Creates strategies that drive positive results in key performance indicators, including sales, conversion, UPT, SPH, Secret Shops and percentage of growth in product categories and Preferred Client registrants

Fully understands KPIs, how they impact business, and how to coach to improve selling behaviors

Create, develop, and manage active and ongoing recruiting to ensure staffing needs are met

Use performance management tools to educate, coach, and mentor sales team to leverage strengths while driving key selling behaviors

Actively lead employees by regularly using the Daily Business Binder for coaching and providing feedback and setting challenging goals to improve employee performance and developing next-level leaders

Track and communicate results of network and recruitment efforts and coordinate introductions of “Blooming, Treasures, and Gift Shops” candidates to direct supervisor (Director of Stores)

Promote and inspire a strong Sales and Service culture in a selling environment

Ensure an environment that exceeds customer expectations through excellence in service, by upholding the "Blooming Boutique, Treasures, and our Gift Shops" standards.

Hold team accountable for sharing product and product knowledge to customers with enthusiasm and passion

Inspire others to achieve results through a sense of purpose, a spirit of cooperation and personal growth

Provide ongoing communication with customers through hand-written thank you notes, phone calls to and in-store visits to promote in-store events, new products and promotions, and introducing our Customer Rewards Program.

Achievement of 90% or greater on Secret Shops and 80% or greater on Retail Sales Academy training.

Foster a collaborative, team environment that celebrates achievements while promoting accountability and individual/team contribution

Creates a positive work environment where all employees are motivated to do their best

Recognizes and rewards individual and team accomplishments using existing organizational tools and programs.

Sets clear, meaningful, and attainable goals that support company objectives

Build and maintain positive working relationship with sister stores.

Ensure compliance of Company policies and procedures, and protect Company assets

Plan and prioritize tasks and responsibilities to meet the needs of the customer and business

Defines tasks and milestones to achieve objectives, while ensuring the optimal use of resources to achieve those objectives

Prepares and executes customer activities and in-store events using approved marketing.

Manages all promotional directive and visual merchandising moves to maximize sales

Builds constructive working relationships characterized by a high level of acceptance, cooperation, and mutual respect.

Knows the reasoning behind key policies, practices, and procedures, and executed operations flawlessly.


College degree or 3 years equivalent job experience preferred

Strong sales experience with demonstrated ability to meet or exceed performance goals

Understands and can effectively navigate POS, computer/laptop or handheld systems

Ability to be mobile on the sales floor for extended periods of time; regularly required to stand, walk, bend, kneel, climb ladders, carry, and lift and/or move up to 25 pounds

Full-time employees are expected to have open availability, including nights and weekends, to meet business needs

Requires occasional travel for meetings and training
