They will be hosting a huge Spunkwear tent event in the store parking lot located at 102 Savannah Rd in downtown Lewes this Friday and Saturday (August 18 & 19). A representative from the company will be in attendance with a massive selection of Spunkwear clothing including previous prints and youth sizes. Free gifts with purchase will be offered at the event and customers will also have the ability to “Spin the Spunkwheel” for a chance at extra discounts!
The Spunkwear brand is local to the eastern shore, designed and manufactured in Kent Island, Maryland. The line was started by a Lacrosse Mom, Sheilah Ruppert who was tired of being so hot on the sidelines at lacrosse tournaments! With the help of her sister-in-law, owner of a swimwear line, she developed a dress that was both attractive and cooling. Nearly the entire line is made from SPF50 material that constantly wicks to keep you cool and looking fabulous, especially during the summer months! Spunkwear has grown tremendously and now includes an array of skorts, dresses, tops, active wear, and much more. Spunkwear has something for every occasion from relaxing on the beach, golfing, or a night on the town.
